MICROBLADING
We have had the best results with the "Do Nothing" healing method and it makes it easier for everyone! For the first few hours after your procedure, check every 30 minutes for fluid that is coming to the surface. It will look like little drops of water! If you see this fluid, take a clean, damp tissue and blot it dry. Continue to check until no fluid is coming to the surface. We recommend washing the tattooed area GENTLY 2 times a day with lukewarm water and mild soap like Cetaphil. Pat it dry with a clean, disposable paper towel and keep it out of the sun throughout the healing process. Do not apply any cosmetics in this area for AT LEAST 10-14 days and completely avoid sweating on the area for the first week. (Sweating acts like a natural removal process and needs to be avoided completely!!!) Just keep the area clean and let it breathe! If your skin starts to feel tight and dry around the fourth or fifth day, you may then use a SMALL amount of plain, fragrance-free lotion or moisturizer IF NEEDED. If you DO need to moisturize, please do so sparingly as this may cause your hair strokes to become blurred.
COSMETIC BROWS
We will apply an invisible liquid bandage to the tattoo before you leave your session. For the first few hours after your procedure, check every 30 minutes for fluid that is coming to the surface. It will look like little drops of water! If you see this fluid, take a clean, damp tissue and blot it dry. Continue to check until no fluid is coming to the surface. Do be mindful to keep your hair off the area and only touch it with clean hands. Starting the day after your procedure, gently cleanse the area twice a day with lukewarm water and mild soap (Cetaphil). Pat dry with a clean, disposable paper towel. Do not apply any cosmetics in this area for AT LEAST 10-14 days and completely avoid sweating on the area for the first week. Sparingly apply the aftercare product given to you with a clean Qtip or fingertip. DO NOT pick or rub the area!
COSMETIC EYELINER
Expect slight to moderate swelling and/or redness. You may apply cool compresses (not ice) to the eyelids for 10 mins, two times a day. Two times daily, gently wash the area with lukewarm water, baby shampoo and a Qtip. If the area is excessively dry, you may apply lubricating eye drops containing BORIC ACID (saline alternative) to moisturize. Do this for seven days following the procedure. DO NOT rub or pick the area! You MUST use NEW mascara to avoid contamination or infection!
COSMETIC LIPS
Expect moderate swelling for 1-2 days after the procedure. to alleviate this, you can apply cold compresses (not ice) to the area for the first two hours, and can be continued throughout the day. Cleanse with cool water and pat dry with a clean, disposable paper towel. apply the aftercare ointment given to you as often as needed to maintain moisture on the lips. DO NOT pick or rub the area!
PLEASE NOTE: After the procedure, the lips may appear to have too much color. After 3-4 days, the color will become lighter as it heals. At this point, it may even appear that you have lost all of your color. As the pigment settles and locks into your skin, the color will gradually become darker. The complete healing process for lips can take up to one month. It is not uncommon to lose 35-40% of color after your first session and a follow up session is required.
scar therapy
Expect redness and moderate swelling for 1-2 days after the procedure.
